National Championship AA Preview: 3d New England Red
Follow the NLF on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. This is the 3d New England 2021 preview for the 2019 NLF Club National Championships. We’ll be profiling some of the top players from every 2020 AA and 2021 AA teams who will be in attendance.
Tyler Boes, midfield, Holderness (N.H.) – Highlights. Boes earned the nickname of “Patrice Bergeron”, and like the surefire NHL Hall of Famer, he’s exceptional all over the field. He does a terrific job defensively and in transition, and he can shoot it either lefty or righty. Boes is the type of midfielder that every championship-caliber team, and there’s little doubt that he can make an impact wherever he goes.
George Fulton, defense, Middlesex (Mass.) – Highlights. A 6-6 tower on the back end, Fulton is an elite communicator, constantly talking through everything for the 3d New England defense. He’s a massive, rangy lefty who throws hard checks.
Griffin Schutz, attack, Deerfield (Mass.) / Boston University – Highlights. Schutz was an early commit before the NCAA recruiting rule change, and he’s considered to be a blue-chip prospect in the ’21 class. At 6-3, 215 pounds, he’s a physical specimen that stands out on the hoof – and he also started on Deerfield’s football team as a freshman at middle linebacker – and he’s got an elite stick to go along with a physical style. Schutz also excels on the ride, where he can track people down.
