When you’ve got a pair of state champions, it only seems fitting to have them start the season against each other.
That was the case in North Carolina with Cardinal Gibbons and Christ School doing battle in the season opener. Gibbons made sure that it was a drama-free event by rolling to a 14-6 win over Christ School.
Team 91 Carolina 2027 Marist commit Peter Dolan was the ringleader for the Crusaders. Dolan rang up five goals to lead the charge, while 91 Carolina 2026 Hudson Beatman (Salisbury) added two goals and an assist.
